Curfew Imposed in Whitefield Town

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: A curfew has been imposed in sections of Whitefield Town in Kingston 13.

The curfew began at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, and will continue up until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows.

  • Along Pretoria Road from Bertram Lane onto Maxfield Avenue.
  • Along Fitzgerald Avenue from Maxfield Avenue to Bertram Lane.
  • Along Maxfield Avenue to Fitzgerald Avenue onto Bertram Lane to Pretoria Road.

During the hours of the curfew, persons living within the boundaries are being asked to remain within their premises, unless instructed by the ground commander.
