CLARENDON, Jamaica — The Clarendon police are probing the death of 64-year-old Leroy Prince, a farmer from Friendship district, who is believed to have been mauled by a cow.
The incident occurred on Thursday around 6:30 p.m., when Prince’s body was found in a nearby bushy area. He had visible injuries to his face, which led investigators to suspect that the fatal injuries were caused by a cow. The animal was spotted close to the scene, prompting authorities to focus on the possibility of an animal attack.
Upon being alerted, the police conducted an initial investigation, and Prince’s body was removed and transported to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
