Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine (McKoy’s News): Citizens Hand Over Illegal Gun – Residents in Old Harbour, St Catherine, handed over an illegal firearm to the police on Tuesday, October 22.
According to reports from the St. Catherine North Police, about 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were conducting vehicular spot checks that resulted in a pile-up of traffic on the Old Harbour main road, during which someone allegedly threw a firearm from a vehicle.
It is further reported that bystanders secured the weapon and alerted the police.
No one was arrested in connection with the seizure.
