Jamaica News: Twenty-six-year-old Dameko Sinclare, otherwise called ‘Grimmy’, a chef of Grange Hill, Westmoreland was charged with Shop-breaking, Larceny and Burglary following investigations into two incidents in Lacovia, St. Elizabeth.
In the first incident, about 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, the complainant securely locked up his business place and left. He was then alerted about a break-in at the business place. After investigating, he realized that the front grille had been cut and several items with an estimated value of JM $102,440 had been stolen.
In the second incident, a few hours later, about 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, a woman returned home to find that her grille and door were open. She made checks and found that several items valued approximately JM $100,000 were missing.
Investigators quickly followed leads when the incidents were reported, and Sinclare was picked up later on Tuesday, October 27. He was charged on Wednesday, October 28 and is scheduled to appear before the Saint Elizabeth Parish Court on Monday, November 2.
