Cardi B Says She’ll Remove Butt Implants Once Tour Ends

Cardi B has revealed that she intends to undergo another cosmetic procedure once her current tour concludes. The Grammy-winning rapper shared the update candidly while backstage during a recent performance stop.

The 33-year-old entertainer is presently promoting her album Am I the Drama? on the Little Miss Drama Tour, which launched February 11 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. During a Los Angeles appearance on February 16, Cardi surprised fans by joining Kehlani on stage for their collaboration “Safe.”

In a backstage moment later shared online, Cardi disclosed that she plans to remove part of her butt implants after the tour wraps in mid-April. Speaking lightheartedly to Kehlani, she said she intends to travel to Colombia for the procedure and step away from public appearances during recovery.

Cardi, born Belcalis Almanzar, has previously spoken openly about cosmetic enhancements. At age 21, she received biopolymer injections in her buttocks—an unapproved silicone-based filler procedure she later described as extremely painful. In interviews, she recounted having the injections done in a basement setting in Queens, New York.

In 2022, the rapper disclosed that she had removed approximately 95 percent of the biopolymers and used social media to caution young women against undergoing similar procedures without proper medical guidance. She has also encouraged individuals considering cosmetic surgery to ensure they are medically fit before proceeding.

With several tour stops still ahead, including major cities such as New York and Chicago, Cardi says the procedure will wait until her performance schedule is complete.
