Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: A popular businessman was shot and killed by gunmen outside a popular night club in Montego Bay, St James on Thursday morning, November 29.
He has been identified as 40-year-old, Basil Bryce, businessman of Catherine Mount, Mount Salem, St. James.
Reports by the police are that about 2:30 a.m., on Thursday morning, Bryce and a group of friends were at the Taboo night club, located at Fairview Complex in Montego Bay, when he went on the outside.

Bryce was in the process of entering his motor car when he was ambushed by two armed men, who brandished handguns and opened fire hitting him multiple times to his upper body. Bryce died on the spot.
The police were summoned and the scene processed.
Bryce’s body was transported to the Cornwall Regional hospital where he was pronounced dead.
