Bus Robber Shot In Kingston

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Bus Robber Shot In Kingston: According to police reports about 5: 55 am yesterday two armed men attempted to hold up a Toyota Coaster Bus that was leaving Downtown and was travelling along Spanish Town Road.

Upon reaching the vicinity of the Horizon Prison one of the men shot a male passenger in his neck and lower regions of his right foot. The bus conductor was also shot and injured in his right shoulder.

A security officer of a private firm who as armed with a licensed firearm shot one of the gunmen and recovered a .38 Smith and Wesson Revolver with four live cartridges and one spent casing. The other gunman escaped the scene before the police arrived. All three injured persons were rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital, where the Gunman who was identified as 23-year-old  Kingsley Gunter, was pronounce dead on arrival.

The other two persons were admitted in stable condition as the wounds they sustained are not life threatening.

The police are investigating the incident and are seeking to find the other gunman who escaped the scene.
