SPANISH TOWN, St. Catherine – A bus driver was shot and killed along Burke Road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Michael Miller of King Street, Spanish Town.
According to reports, around 8:05 a.m., Miller was standing near a plaza when he was approached by two men, one of whom was armed. Sensing danger, Miller attempted to flee, but the gunman opened fire, hitting him multiple times. He collapsed onto a stall and succumbed to his injuries.
Police are investigating the attack and searching for the suspects. No motive has been established at this time.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Spanish Town Police or Crime Stop at 311.
