Latest Jamaica News, St Andrew: British National Murdered – A British national who hailed from London, England, was fatally shot, and two other persons injured, after the vehicle in which they were traveling was shot up by motorcycle gunmen.
The dead man has been identified as Donovan Lewis.
Reports are that shortly after 9:00 p.m., Lewis and three other persons were traveling in a Nissan Note motor car along the Arthur Wint Drive in Kingston.
On reaching a section of the roadway, two men traveling on a motorcycle rode up beside the motor car, the men brandished handguns and opened fire on the occupants of the vehicle.
Lewis and two of the passengers received gunshot wounds. They were rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead and the other two victims admitted in serious condition.
