Latest Jamaica News, Trelawny (McKoy’s News): One man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of a crippled man along Duke Street in Falmouth, Trelawny, in July of 2017.
Facing charges of murder is 25-year-old Everton Shield, otherwise called “Brifo” unemployed of Wellington Street, also in Falmouth, and he has been charged with the murder of Oberi Forester.
Reports are that about 1:50 a.m., police got reports that gunshots were being fired in the area and traveled to the location.
On their arrival at Forester’s house, the lawmen found him slumped in his wheelchair, with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Following an investigation, Shield was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
