Kingston, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Female Doctor Found Dead: On Wednesday (September 13, 2017) night, the shocking news of the death of another medical doctor hit the medical fraternity like a bolt of lightning, when the lifeless body of 40-yr-old Dr. Sonya-Kay Forbes was found with multiple stab wounds at her home on Cunningham Avenue, off Roosevelt Avenue, Kingston 5.
Reports reaching our newsroom are that at approximately 7:20 p.m., a relative discovered the body of Dr. Forbes and called the police, after which her body was removed.
Dr. Forbes was a senior resident of Ophthalmology at the Kingston Public Hospital. Some of her friends have taken to social media to express their shock and grief over her death.
One person wrote, “I miss you my friend!!! We never know what’s going through our hearts and minds… RIP Sonya-Kay Forbes… I love you!!! This one hurts like hell!!!!!!!!! It hurts me to my core!!! Not this way!!!! Not this way!!! It’s a nightmare that’s not ending.”
Another friend of hers wrote, “OMG!!! RIP Dr. Sonya-Kay Forbes… I am in shock! I spoke to you last week!…omg!”
The St Andrew Central Police are continuing their investigations.
