The Grange Hill police in Westmoreland are investigating the death of a man who was gunned down in clear view of his family members on Mint Road in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, on Friday.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Jason Reid, also known as ‘Brains’ or ‘Mango Head,’ of Mint Road, Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
Reports indicate that around 9:15 p.m., Reid was sitting inside his home when two men armed with high-powered rifles forced their way inside.
The men opened fire, hitting Reid over 20 times, before leaving the house.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, they found Reid lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
Investigators believe that Reid was killed as a reprisal for the death of another man who was shot and killed in Grange Hill on Wednesday.
