Prime Minister Andrew Holness and other notable figures praised their work during the ceremony. Both artists expressed gratitude for the honors, with Bounty Killer sharing his appreciation on social media, thanking his fans and supporters worldwide.
The honors come as part of a larger recognition, with both artists set to receive the Order of Distinction, one of Jamaica’s highest national honors, later this year. This award acknowledges outstanding service to Jamaica and its cultural heritage.
