Bog Walk, St Catherine — Police have launched an investigation into the suspected suicide of a man in the community of Wander Lane, Bog Walk, St Catherine.
The deceased has been identified as David Summers, who was reportedly mentally challenged. His body was discovered hanging from an ackee tree with a piece of cloth around 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Residents who found Summers’ body quickly alerted the police. Authorities arrived on the scene and later removed the body as investigations commenced.
The Bog Walk police are continuing their inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
