“BeenIe” Shot and Killed While Returning from Football Match, Three Others Shot and Injured

Latest Jamaica News, St James (McKoy’s News): “BeenIe” Shot and Killed – One man was shot and killed, and three other persons shot and injured, while they were returning from a football match in Barrett Town, St James, on Sunday night, October 6.
Dead is 38-year-old Andre Hall, otherwise called “Beenie” fisherman of Headley Quarters in Flankers, St James.
Three other persons, including a 15-year-old male student was also shot and injured, and are presently at hospital in serious but stable condition.
Man Killed on Washington Boulevard
Reports by the Barrett Town police are that about 11:00 p.m., Hall and the other three victims were returning from a football match which was held earlier on Sunday afternoon, in Barrett Town.
On reaching a section of the community know as Top Hill, they were ambushed by armed men who opened fire hitting all four victims multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the four wounded victims were rushed to hospital where Hall was pronounced dead, and the others admitted in serious but stable condition.
