“Bam Bam” Tops Music Charts after Being Featured in Netflix Drama Series

Sister Nancy’s 1982 hit “Bam Bam” sits atop the iTunes Reggae Songs charts. This, due to its appearance in an episode of Netflix’s popular crime drama Ozark, which was released last weekend.
The record, which has been certified silver in the United Kingdom, has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, including the Netflix series Maid and the James Bond film No Time To Die.
Following its appearance on Ozark, which according to U.S media was Netflix’s most-streamed original series in 2020, Bam Bam quickly returned to the top of the charts and continues to be a favourite for the creative industry players.
“Bam Bam” is perhaps the most sampled dancehall song of all-time.
