Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Bahamian Murdered: The Savanna-la-mar police in the parish of Westmoreland are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a Bahamian resident and another man in the parish on Friday morning, February 2, 2018.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Kareem James, Construction Worker, who was living with relatives at Dexter in Savanna-la-mar at the time of his death.
The other victim is still presently in critical condition at hospital.
Reports by the Savanna-la-mar police are that sometime after 7:00 a.m. on Friday, James and the other man were standing along the roadway in Delta when a motor vehicle with three men on board drove up.
The men on board the motor vehicle opened fire on both men, shooting them to the upper regions of their body. The gunmen then sped off and made their escape in the vehicle.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims were transported to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where James was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in critical condition.
Meanwhile, several residents living in the community of Delta told reporters that they have been living in fear since Sunday of this week, as a number of gunmen have been firing a barrage of gunshots at various locations in the area.
