The Granville police in St. James have launched a manhunt to apprehend an individual who attempted to shoot another man at a gas station in Tucker Irwin on Friday night.
The victim, known as the ‘Extortionist,’ narrowly escaped unharmed.
Reports indicate that around 8:00 p.m., the victim, in his early twenties, was at the service station when a white Nissan pulled up, and a man exited the vehicle.
Initially posing as a customer, the man entered the mini-mart at the service station. Minutes later, he emerged from the mini-mart and suddenly brandished a handgun, firing shots at the ‘Extortionist.’
Fortunately, the victim managed to flee the scene unscathed, while the shooter quickly returned to the Nissan and sped away.
