Atkinson Wins Three Gold Medals at Florida Championship

Jamaican swim sensation and four-time Olympian, Alia Atkinson has won three gold medals at the 3-day Florida Gold Coast Senior Swimming championships.

The 32-year-old Atkinson, who holds 19 national records, won the 100-metres breaststroke in 58.92-seconds, 100-metres freestyle in 48.81-seconds and the 100-metres butterfly in 52.01 seconds.

The 52.01 seconds she posted in the final of the 100-metres butterfly was a personal best and pool record dropping 6.44 seconds off her previous best of 58.45 seconds.
