The police have arrested 23-year-old Junior Coleman, a construction worker from Tredegar Park, Spanish Town, in connection with the deadly shooting at the wake of reggae artist Christopher Martin’s grandmother in Cujoe Hill last Wednesday. The attack left seven people wounded and 34-year-old Oniel Spencer, also known as ‘Tarius,’ dead.
Coleman faces charges of murder, wounding with intent, possession of prohibited weapons, and gang-related activities. Area Five Commander, SSP Christopher Phillips, confirmed that the police are also pursuing other suspects, including Kemar Miller (‘Pantyman’), Shane Thompson (‘Shanyman’), and Brian King (‘Brico’). Several other individuals have been urged to report to the Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch.
SSP Phillips assured the public that the police are working diligently to ensure all responsible parties are brought to justice.
