Kingston, Jamaica – An AK-47 rifle, along with a magazine containing 23 rounds of ammunition, was seized by the Kingston East Police during an early-morning operation in the Rockfort area on Saturday, December 21.
According to reports from the Rockfort Police, the operation began around 6:50 a.m. and involved a thorough search of premises in the area. During the search, law enforcement officers discovered the high-powered firearm and ammunition.
No arrests were made in connection with the discovery, but police have stated that investigations are ongoing.
