Jamaica News, April 12, 2018 –  Aabuthnott High Students in Sexual Assault Case

St Ann,  Jamaica (McKoy’s News) –  Investigators attached to the  Alexander Police Station  in the parish of St Ann, are now in search of seven male students, who reportedly sexually molested a female student who attends the said institution on Wednesday afternoon, April 11.

Our news team understand that, the investigators commenced an investigation after collecting a full statement from the female student and also a doctor’s report.

Reports are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the male students who attend the Aabuthnott High School in Alexandria,  St Ann and ranges  from ages 15 – 17 years old, allegedly molested the female student in an abandoned building which is located immediately behind the school.

Our news team also learnt that a large crowd of students and other passers-by, overheard the student calling for help and went to investigate.  Luckily a plain clothes officer, who is said to be attached to Major Organized Crime Unit was driving pass the area and stopped to investigate.

Our news team further learnt that, the police officer rushed to assist the female student, but was greeted by several Stones being hurled at him, by the boys who later fled the scene.

The student was immediately taken to the Alexandria police station which is just a few chains from the school compound and the location where the incident occurred.
