The St Catherine police has confirmed that a eight-year-old student who was abducted from a Primary School in Portmore, St Catherine, on Thursday and later found with her throat slashed at a section of Vinyard Town, St Andrew, is now receiving medical attention at hospital.
The infant who attends Braeton Primary School in Portmore, was reportedly abducted on Thursday afternoon.
Her abductors drove her to a section of Vinyard Town, where they slit her throat and threw her out of the vehicle.
The body of the wounded child was discovered by passersby who alerted the police, and the child rushed to hospital where she immediately received medical attention.
