The Narcotics Police have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the seizure of over$8-million worth of ganja and cocaine, at a house in Kingston 20, on Tuesday.
The identities of both accused are being withheld pending further investigations.
Reports by the Narcotics police are that shortly after 1:30 am, an anti-narcotics operation was carried out at the premises, which is occupied by the male and female.
A search of the premises led to the seizure of several knitted bags containing compressed ganja weighing approximately 1600 pounds.
A further search of the premises led to the seizure of one-kilogram of cocaine, Jamaican $-203,000, and American $2,050.
The police also seized two High-End vehicles sad to be owned by both accused.
