77-year-old Charged for Ganja Possession in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News [ Mckoy’s News ] 77-year-old Charged for Ganja Possession – An elderly St James shopkeeper was arrested and charged in connection with the seizure of several pounds of ganja at his shop, at the Fisherman’s Village located off Howard Cooke Boulevard, in Montego Bay, on Thursday, September 12.

Facing charges of possession of and dealing in ganja his 77-year-old Lacelle Allen, shop keeper of 4-River Bay Road, also in Montego Bay.

Reports are that about 4:20 p.m., members of the Narcotics police carried out an operation at a shop inside the fishing village, which is operated by Allen.

During a search of the establishment, the lawmen found three and a half pounds, of ganja underneath the counter.

Allen was taken into custody and charged.
