Residents living in Harmony Town area of Dallinghe Savanna La Mar police, in search of a 15-year-old boy, who shot and killed his 6-year-old, cousin, inside their yard, at a section of Dalling Street called Harmony Town, on Monday afternoon, May 17.
The deceased has been identified as Six-year-old Jadaine Miller, student of 105 Dalling Street, and a search been carried out for the accused 15-year-old Mikoy Morris, otherwise called ‘Mikey’, a student who attends the Grange Hill High school and resides at the same address.
Reports by the police are that about 2:30 pm, Jadaine was playing inside his yard at Harmony Hall, when his cousin, Mikoy, who was also inside the yard brandished a handgun and pointed it at him.
It is further reported that Mikoy opened fire hitting Jadaine to the left side of his back, and immediately from the location with the murder weapon
The wounded boy was assisted to the hospital by relatives, where he died whilst been treated.
