6-year-old Boy Murdered in Clarendon, Mother Shot and Injured

Clarendon, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 6-year-old Boy Murdered: As the bloodletting continues in the parish of Clarendon, gunmen struck again on Friday, this time killing a 6-yr-old infant and shooting and injuring his mother.

Reports by the Clarendon Police are that shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Friday morning, young Timothy Bassanagh and his mother were at home in Effortville Farm when gunmen forced their way inside the house.

The gunmen then opened fire on the infant and his mother killing him on the spot and wounding his mother, after which they escaped on foot. The police were called and on arrival, both victims were transported to the May Pen Hospital where the infant was pronounced dead and the mother admitted in critical condition.
