Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 16-Year-old Student Succumb to Gunshot Wounds: The Spring Mount police have reported that the 16-year-old boy who was shot and wounded in the Johns Hall community on Thursday night, succumbed to gunshot wounds at the Cornwall Regional Hospital on Friday, December 29, 2017.

The victim whose brother was also shot and injured by the gunmen, has been identified as Josh Lee, while his 20-year-old brother is presently in hospital in serious but stable condition.

Reports by the Spring Mount police are that shortly after 11:00 pm on Thursday, both brothers were walking along a section of the Johns Hall main road when a car with three men on board drove up.

The occupants of the car opened fire hitting both brothers to their upper bodies.

The gunmen drove away from the scene while both brothers were assisted to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were treated and admitted.

The 16-year-old succumbed to his injuries hours later.
