Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Hunts Bay police in Kingston, say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify the men behind the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy, and the shooting and wounding of three other persons, at Payne Avenue, in Kingston 11, on Saturday, June 8.
The dead teenager has been identified as Dujon Dacosta, also of Payne Avenue.
Two females and a male were also shot and injured during the incident, they are presently at hospital in serious condition.
Reports by the Hunts Bay police are that about 7:30 p.m., Dujon and the other three victims, were among a group of persons standing along the roadway, at Payne Avenue, when they were ambushed by armed men.
The gunmen opened fire, hitting all four multiple times, before escaping from the area.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, the four victims were rushed to hospital, where Dujon was pronounced dead.
