Jamaica News, St Catherine: 22-year-old Keno Kidd, laborer of Logwood Avenue in Kingston 13, lost his life by drowning while swimming at a beach in the area on Sunday, January 13.
Reports by the police are that about 9:30 a.m., Kidd and a group of friends were swimming in the sea, at Logwood Avenue, when he got into difficulties and drowned.
An alarm was raised and lifeguards at the beach carried out a search. His body was later fished from the water.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Kidd was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
