A 29-year-old man who stabbed a woman multiple times during an altercation in Springfield, St Thomas, last Saturday has turned himself in to the police.
The accused, identified as Lishuan Blake, also known as ‘Punta,’ of Friendship Pen in Springfield, St Thomas, has been charged with Wounding With Intent.
Reports indicate that around 3:00 AM, Blake and the woman were involved in an altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation. During the incident, Blake allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed the woman multiple times in the upper body before fleeing the scene.
The injured woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated and admitted in serious but stable condition.
Following a report to the police, a search was launched to apprehend Blake, who subsequently turned himself in and was arrested and charged.
