SPANISH TOWN, ST. CATHERINE – Police investigators from the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) in St. Catherine are actively searching for a man suspected of breaching the Sexual Offences Act after allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl.
The suspect, identified as a 24-year-old man, is alleged to have befriended the young girl on the social media platform TikTok in December 2024. Their online friendship reportedly escalated, leading to a meeting at the man’s home last Friday, where the alleged sexual encounter took place.
The incident came to light after the 12-year-old girl reportedly confided in her relatives, who then filed a report with the police. CISOCA investigators have since launched a full-scale investigation into the matter.
Authorities are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the 24-year-old suspect to contact CISOCA in St. Catherine or the nearest police station.
