St Catherine, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Terror gripped early morning commuters on Tuesday after the headless body of a man was discovered along the North-South Highway, sending shockwaves through the quiet morning traffic.
The body was found near the toll plaza, close to Caymanas Bay Road, shortly after 6:00 a.m. A commuter traveling to Kingston spotted the body lying on the ground and alerted authorities.
Head of the St Catherine South Police, Superintendent Leighton Grey, confirmed that a unit from the division was dispatched to the scene. The area was secured and investigators began collecting evidence.
The victim remains unidentified, and the severed head has not been recovered. Police have not confirmed a motive or any suspects at this time.
