St. James, Jamaica — Law enforcement officers attached to the St. James Policing Division successfully seized an illegal firearm, a magazine, and twenty-five 9mm rounds of ammunition during a targeted raid in the Mount Salem area on Sunday, August 18.
According to official reports, the operation was conducted around 2:55 p.m. along Sign Main Road, where officers executed a search of a dwelling within the community. During the search, a Glock pistol was discovered wrapped in a handkerchief.
Five individuals were taken into custody in connection with the seizure. Authorities have not yet released their identities, as investigations are ongoing.
