Jamaica Crime News, St Thomas: The St Thomas police are now carrying out an investigation surrounding the shooting death of  23-year-old Kevin Campbell, of Blacksmith Lane, Seaforth in St Thomas, who was shot and killed by unknown assailants in his community on Sunday, August 12.

Reports by the Morant Bay Police are that about 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, residents living at Blacksmith Lane heard loud explosions and summoned the police.

Upon arrival, Campbell was seen lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was transported to the Morant Bay hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are now reporting that they are working with some strong leads and expect to make an early breakthrough into this latest shooting.
