Wood Work Man Murdered in Westmoreland

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Wood Work Man Murdered: The Whithorne police in Westmoreland are now carrying out investigations into the death of a man who was shot and killed in the area on Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 2017.
Dead is 57-year-old Roy Palmer, Cabinet Maker of a Petersfield address in Westmoreland.
Reports by the Whithorne police are that shortly after 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, residents living at a section of Whithorne known as Pullet Lane, raised an alarm after hearing a barrage of gunshots being fired. The police traveled to the location and on arrival, came upon Palmer’s lifeless body.
The victim was discovered lying along the roadway in a pool of blood with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The scene was processed and Palmer was transported to the Sav-la-mar Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
