St. Ann, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Woman Shot By Man In St. Ann’s Bay Supermarket Dies: Ophelia Walloston, a registered nurse from Lime Hall, St. Ann, had gone to the St. Ann’s Bay Police Station on Friday to file a report. After leaving the police station, she then went to the supermarket in the same town to do some shopping.

While shopping at the supermarket at approximately 6:30 p.m., a man came up to her and an argument ensued. The man then opened fire at her, shooting her on the spot.

Walloston was then taken to the St. Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital. She died while undergoing treatment on Saturday morning.

It could not be confirmed if the man who shot Walloston was the person she had filed a complaint against. However, speculations are that she had filed a report against him.

Walloston attacker reportedly handed himself over to the police following the shooting on Friday. The police are still investigating.
