Winston Palmer: Killed in St Ann Crash  

Jamaica News, St  Ann: Another motorist lost his life in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Llandovery main road in the parish of St Ann on Saturday afternoon, May 26.

The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Winston Palmer of Wharf Road also in St Ann.

Reports by the St Ann Bay police are that shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Palmer was driving his white Toyota Corolla Station wagon motor car along a section of the Llandovery main road.

On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver of a Honda motor car which was travelling in the opposite direction, lost control of the vehicle which crashed into the car being driven by Palmer.

The Honda Spin and then crashed into a Nissan AD Wagon which was travelling close behind Palmer’s car.

All three vehicles were extensively damaged and Palmer was killed instantly on the spot.

The driver of the Honda was transported to hospital where he was admitted in critical condition, while the driver of the Nissan and three passengers who were travelling in the vehicle received minor injuries.
