Windel Wright Murdered in St James
Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Despite being under a State of Public Emergency and the police saying murders are on the decline in the parish of St. James, the killing of innocent civilians continues to trickle over.
The latest victim to be murdered in the parish of St James has been identified as Windel Whyte, 44-year-old Mason of Retirement community.
Reports by the Granville police are that about 7:30 p.m., residents in Granville raised an alarm after several gunshots were heard coming from a section of the community.
The lawmen drove to the scene and upon arrival they stumbled upon Whyte’s body, which was lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
The scene was processed and Whyte was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
