Jamaica News, Westmoreland: Our news team has been informed that Jordane Fletcher, National Reggae Boys striker, who was admitted to the Savanna-la-mar hospital over a week ago, following his involvement in a motor vehicle accident which occurred in Negril on Sunday afternoon, May 20, has been released from hospital, but was also fined by the Westmoreland police.
Traffic Investigators say the young football striker was partially rendered unconscious following his involvement in the accident, but he has been released from hospital and was also slapped with a fine for Breaches of the Road Traffic Act.
Jordane Fletcher became a star footballer when he guided his Cornwall College Dacosta Cup team to winning the ISSA flow, Dacosta Cup trophy in 2016. Fletcher also was voted as MVP that same year and shortly after graduating he was selected on the Senior Reggae BoysTeam.
Fletcher is said to have been traveling in a motor vehicle in Negril on Sunday afternoon when the vehicle crashed.
It is reported that he sustained head injuries and was rushed to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where he was admitted in an unconscious state.
