Westmoreland Mechanic Shot to Death And Burnt

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westmoreland Mechanic Shot: The Grange Hill police in the parish of Westmoreland,  are now carrying out investigations into the death of a man who was shot and killed, and his body set ablaze in his house, by unknown assailants in the community last Thursday.

Dead is Lloyd Jones, otherwise called Prof,  54-year-old mechanic of Grange Hill.

Reports are that about 1:30 am on Thursday, residents in Grange Hill alerted the police when they discovered that Jones’ one bedroom board house was on fire.

The police then alerted the Westmoreland Fire Department,  but when they arrived, the house and its contents  had  been  completely
destroyed .

A search of the burnt structure led to the discovery of Jones’ charred remains under the rubble.  The body was pronounced dead at the Savanna-la-mar Hospital, and later removed to the morgue.
