Westmoreland, Jamaica (McN) – The Whithorne Police in Westmoreland have arrested a woman from the parish, in connection with the stabbing death of her common-law husband on Tuesday night.
Police identified the Westomoreland Stabbed to Death by his live-in girlfriend as Seymour Cole, 38-year-old construction worker of a Coriweana District in Petersfield, Westmoreland.
Reports are that about 8:00 pm on Tuesday the common law couple were at their home in Coriweane district when an argument developed between the two.
The domestic dispute escalated unto the main road and the two then got involved in a physical confrontation.
During the argument a knife was brought into play.
The knife was reportedly used by the accused to stab Cole to the upper regions of his body.
The wounded man was rushed to the Sav La Mar hospital where he died whilst been treated.
After news circulated that Cole succumbed to his injuries, the female was turned over to the police by family member.
