Jamaica News, March 13, 2018 – Westmoreland Man Shot Dead by Gunmen                                                                       

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A man was shot and killed by a group of gunmen who invaded his yard in Whitehouse, Westmoreland on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Clayton Campbell,  laborer of Gordon District in Whitehouse, Westmoreland.

Reports by the Whitehouse police are that shortly after 9:00 p.m., Campbell was outside in his yard with other family members when he was ambushed by a group of men.

The men brandished handguns and opened fire hitting Campbell to the upper regions of his body.  The gunmen then escaped in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where he was pronounced dead.
