Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: The Savanna-la-mar police are now carrying out investigations, surrounding the shooting death of a man, who was discovered along a section of Hudson Street, while clutching an illegal firearm, on Thursday night, January 24.
The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Jermaine Ferguson, otherwise called “Bobby” of Hudson Street.
Reports by the police are that about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, residents residing in Hudson Street, alerted the police after hearing several gunshots being fired in the area.
The police rushed to the location and following a search of the community, they discovered Ferguson’s body, which was seen lying along a section of the roadway, in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds.
Ferguson was also clutching a. 38 pistol, loaded with a .38 cartridge.
Ferguson was transported to the Savanna-la-mar hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
