Jamaica Crime News: Westmoreland Man Charged For Illegal Firearm – 40-year-old, Roderick Coke, otherwise called Roger,  laborer of Seaton Crescent, in Savannah La Mar, Westmoreland, was arrested and charged for Breaches of the Firearms Act, on Saturday, January 12th.

Reports by the Savannah La Mar Police are that about 6:20 a.m., on Saturday,  a team of officers carried out an operation along sections of Seaton Crescent.

During the operation,  a premise occupied by Coke was searched, and the weapon, a.380 High Point pistol, with a magazine containing several live rounds, was seized.

Motorcyclist Killed in Westmoreland Crash 

Coke was arrested and charged for Illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

He is booked to appear before the Western Regional Gun Court, later this week.
