Westmoreland Illegal Firearms Seizure, Four Persons to be Charged

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westmoreland Illegal Firearms Seizure: the Westmoreland police have indicated that criminal charges are expected to be laid against a female and three male who were taken into custody during the seizure of two illegal firearms and several rounds of ammunition in the parish on Sunday.

The Savanna-la-mar police have reported that on Saturday morning about 5:45 a.m.,  an operation was carried out at a premises occupied by the four accused along Dalling Street in Savanna-la-mar.

During the operation, a search of the premises resulted in the discovery of two Glock Pistols, 42 live 9-mm rounds and 21 live .40 rounds. Four magazines were also seized.

The four accused were taken into custody and taken to the Savanna-la-mar lock up.
