Westmoreland: Fish Vendor Murdered in Negril

Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Fish Vendor Murdered: Investigations are now being carried out by the Negril police in the parish of Westmoreland to get a motive surrounding the shooting death of a fish vendor in the area on Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as  54-year-old Hyacinth Miller, Fish Vendor of Tank Hill also in Negril.

Reports by the Negril police are that shortly after 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6th,  Miller retired to bed with her one-year-old grandson and left the rear door to her house open.

About an hour later,  loud explosions were heard and family members rushed to her house and discovered her lying In a pool of blood in her bed.

They immediately alerted the police and upon arrival, it was discovered that the female fish vendor was shot multiple times to her upper body.

She was transported to the Savanna-la-mar hospital where she was pronounced dead.
