Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Westmoreland First 2018 Murder: The police in the parish of Westmoreland have reported the first murder of 2018.
The first victim of the year has been identified as 42-year-old Carl Malcolm, otherwise called Bull Dog,
Malcolm, a cookshop operator, was shot and killed in the community of Georges Plain, Westmoreland. He is believed to have been shot on New Years Morning, Monday, January 1, after a New Year’s Eve celebration held in the community.
The Frome police reported that about 7:00 am on Monday, residents in Georges Plain stumbled upon Malcolm’s body and alerted the police.
Upon arrival, the man known as Bull Dog was discovered lying on a lawn in a pool of blood, with multiple gunshot wounds.
Our news team also learned that another man, 20-year old, was shot and seriously wounded in Kings Valley, Grange Hill, Westmoreland on Sunday night, New Year’s Eve.
The 20-year-old man was reportedly at a New Year’s Eve celebration in the area when he went behind a zinc fence to urinate and was shot in the abdomen by unknown assailants.
The Morgan’s Bridge police are now investigating.
