Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Investigators attached to the Whithorne police station in Hanover, have now confirmed that a 32-year-old man who was discovered dead in the room of his house on Friday, actually committed suicide.
The police have also indicated that the deceased Courtney Dalling, Electrician of a Fort Williams address, was going through a phase of stress disorder after he recently broke up with his baby mother.
They also stated that it was discovered that he was also being counselled by family members.
Reports are that, Dalling was last seen alive on Friday morning, April 6, by his mother. Later that afternoon about 3:50 p.m., she did not see him as usual and knowing that he was going through a stress period, she went in search of him.
She went to his board apartment dwelling house and discovered him lying motionless on the floor with a rope around his neck.
The Whithorne police were summoned and upon arrival, Dalling was transported to the Sav-la-mar hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigators also theorized that he climbed unto a Chester Drawer in the room and hanged himself.
