Westmoreland Drive-by Shooting Leaves Foreign National Dead

Westmoreland, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Westmoreland Drive-by Shooting: Police report that a drive-by shooting in the parish of Westmoreland on Friday, has left a Bahamian National dead, and another man seriously injured.

The deceased is identified as a 32-year-old Kareem James, who is said to have been working as a construction worker in the parish of Westmoreland.

The victim is reported to be a native of Nassau, Bahamas.

James was reportedly gunned down in a drive-by shooting along Daring Street, in Westmoreland on Friday morning, February 2.

Reports by the Westmoreland police are that James and another man were standing along Darling Street when at about 7:30 am a car drove up with armed inside.

The gunmen opened fire shooting both men several times.

Both victims were taken to hospital where James died.

The other man is listed in serious condition.
